Keeping all dimension options when filters are applied (NULL values as 0)

    Anthony Fattizzi

I am having an issue where Tableau is removing options of dimensions when a filter is applied and the value does not exist. What I need to happen is for all dimension results to stay and a 'zero' population where there are no results. I need this because I am using a LOOKUP function in a calculated field and I need to maintain all rows in order for it to work properly. I unfortunately do not have a workbook to post because I am working with confidential data. If further explanation is needed I would be happy to provide it. I have already attempted "show empty rows", ZN function ect. I think the main reason I am having this issue is that I am using a secondary data source in order to map that calculation I am working with.

Thank you in advance for the help!
