I limited the table to the 3 days in reference.
Then went to Analysis > Totals > Show row totals
Then go to Analysis > Totals > Total All Using > Average
Then Hide the columns you don't want in your view (1/12 & 1/13)

Try using a helper function such as last(), to do this, add date into your columns, then in to the right hand side of this pill, create the below adhoc calculation: last() =0 and then convert this field into discrete.
Bring it to your filters shelf and set it to true, then hide the date headers:
The helper functions comes after the table calculation so hides all the other fields.
In the attached workbook, I have also included option two which has a date parameter with an associated date filter:

You were filtering out the dates that you needed to complete the table calculation - I added the dates back in and it will return this
