# If COUNTD of a Dimension in a View is equal to COUNTD of Dimension in Dataset then "All" else Dimension.

Hi, it is effectively this formula, but I am running into aggregation issues. Thanks for the help.

IIF({COUNTD([Dimension])} = COUNTD([Dimension]),'All',[Dimension])

Regards,Nick

Can you share some further details and perhaps a packaged workbook?

IIF(SUM({COUNTD([Dimension])}) = COUNTD([Dimension]),'All',[Dimension])

Hi, Thanks for the response, but this doesn't work as the condition of the IF statement is aggregated while the responses are not.

Hi Ken, Please see screenshot posted above. Thanks!!

Hi, Thanks Deepak; however, this doesn't work as ATTR checks that MIN(Category) = MAX(Category) before displaying the Category dimension. As soon as you remove an item from the filter, I receive an asterisk rather than the category dimension (as there are multiple values).

You need to add Category to detail Shelf

To See All, add the Filter to CONTEXT and Category to Detail

Thanks

Deepak

Hi Deepak, that doesn't work as shown in your last screen shot (showing all with only furniture filtered). Context won't work as Fixed LOD are calculated after context.
I'm looking for "All" as the dimension if all dimensions are present; if not, then show the dimension.

I'm also looking to do it without any items on the detail pane.

Nicholas,

Is this what you are trying to do

Hi, Thanks for the help. So yes that is what I'm looking to do... effectively. But without an item on the detail pane and without a hidden column.
