1. Re: Dashboard Formatting Conundrums
Daniel Lawrence Dec 27, 2018 11:35 AM (in response to Daniel Lawrence)Also, I cannot seem to get the graph titles to be horizontally displayed with plenty of room. When I go to format --> alignment --> up or down or normal it only would change the axis but not the titles. Can we make this title horizontally displayed?

2. Re: Dashboard Formatting Conundrums
Daniel Lawrence Dec 27, 2018 11:37 AM (in response to Daniel Lawrence)I solved #2 by making the 2nd axis "Reversed" so the Percent Difference showed up in a different spot but still looking for some help on #1, #3, and the new #4.
Thanks!

ShivaRam Chennapragada Dec 27, 2018 11:56 AM (in response to Daniel Lawrence)Looks like you're on the dashboard, so either right click on a particular sheet and Format or go to the worksheet itself and Format > Reference Lines.

ShivaRam Chennapragada Dec 27, 2018 12:49 PM (in response to Daniel Lawrence)Hi Daniel,
I might've given you wrong direction. It is actually Format > Lines. Sorry about that. Here's the workbook.
Thanks,
Shiva.

ShivaRam Chennapragada Dec 27, 2018 1:05 PM (in response to Daniel Lawrence)Did you also check the Rows tab?

11. Re: Dashboard Formatting Conundrums
Daniel Lawrence Dec 27, 2018 1:20 PM (in response to Daniel Lawrence)Bingo! That's what I was missing. I assumed that Sheet was a blanket for Rows and Columns and if you marked Sheets as None then both would subsequently be None. No more assumptions for me.
Thank you!
Do you know how to bring the date axis to the top instead of the bottom but keeping the discrete nature of the dates?
Or Would you happen to know anything about making the axis labels horizontal? This one is particularly desired by the boss...

12. Re: Dashboard Formatting Conundrums
ShivaRam Chennapragada Dec 27, 2018 2:12 PM (in response to Daniel Lawrence)To bring the headers to the top do this, Analysis > Table Layout > Advanced > Uncheck the below checkbox,
About the header alignment I don't think you can do that. Here's an idea you can upvote and some workarounds proposed by other users.

Hope this helps.

13. Re: Dashboard Formatting Conundrums
Daniel Lawrence Dec 27, 2018 5:29 PM (in response to ShivaRam Chennapragada)Yes! That was exactly what I needed and although tedious I was able to use the suggestion from that post of making each graph a stand alone with a row label that was horizontal.
ShivaRam, you're the best.
