    Cannot adjust width of gridlines

      Hey Y'all,

The problem is as the title states: I cannot figure out how to adjust the width of gridlines on a chart.

I know it is possible because a workbook I downloaded while following a Sankey tutorial has a bar with the gridlines no wider than the bar. Unfortunately, even within this workbook, I cannot replicate this behavior. There's a setting or an option that I must be missing because, after an hour of matching all of the settings on the format menu, my chart still does not match the chart that came with the workbook.

Here is the bar chart that came with the workbook:

The gridlines are barely wider than the bar itself, and, when you grab the edge of the bar to extend its width, you grab only the bar. There is no padding / margin. It's perfect!

This is the crummy bar that I created =(

The gridlines extend way beyond the edge of the bar. When you grab the edge of the chart to adjust the width of the bar, there is a lot of padding between it and the actual bar.

I've attached the workbook (version 10.5 on Mac OS Mojave).

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Somehow this was the most difficult part of creating the sankey diagram from the tutorial...
