We are having the same problem. We are using Tableau Public. We have several dashboards that sheet swap based on a filter selection. The table arrays error shows up. The issue is sporadic - we can't predict when it is going to happen. It doesn't happen in Desktop. We are currently using 10.5. Our work around was to disable the sheet swap by removing the multi-select option on the filter. However, this isn't really a work-around because we lost some important functionally. Looking forward to this fix - hopefully soon.
I have the same problem. I'm using Tableau Desktop 2018.2
The error occurs when I apply a filter that contains an IF condition to several sheets within the same Dashboard. The data source is unique, when I apply the filter some sheets are left blank, and when I select a record from a sheet that is not blank the message appears.
This issue has been fixed. Please upgrade to the latest maintenance release. If you are still having trouble, contact support.
It looks like we are still having the issue with Tableau Public? Do you know if the maintenance release was push out to it yet?
I believe the change went out to Tableau Public too. Can you post a link to your problematic workbook and what steps fail? I will double-check.
Paul - Sorry I double-checked and the change did not make 2018.3, which is the code now running on Tableau Public. If using 2018.3, you will need to wait for 2018.3.1 for the fix. I'm not sure exactly when it will make Tableau Public and Tableau Online, but those update every few weeks.
Here is a link. When multiple quarters are selected, the table arrays error pops up. It doesn't happen everything, and we can't seem to understand when it occurs. We don't have this issue on Desktop or Server.
Thanks for everything.
No problem. Thanks so much!
