    Filter on Disenroll Date

      I can't believe I can't figure this out...


      I simply want to create a filter ("Enrolled", "Discharged") based on whether the DischargeDate in the Enrollment table is NULL or not.  In other words, the filter would consider a client Discharged if DisenrollDate <> NULL and Enrolled if DisenrollDate = NULL.


      I created a Calculated Field ("Enrollment Status") with:


      if [Disenroll Date] <> NULL then 'Discharged'

      else 'Enrolled'



      When I drop the pill to Filters, I don't get those 2 option...I ONLY get a checkbox for "ENROLLED"...but there is a ton of data with NULL in the DisenrollDate.  How do i set this up?
