Hello, Juracy (and others). When I encounter this, it is usually because my ACL software needs to be activated. I often have to switch back and forth from ACL's unicode and non-unicode versions (uninstalling and reinstalling), and when I reinstall the software I sometimes forget to open the application first and activate the license. After I activate, the ODBC connection usually works and I can access tables, etc.
Just let me know if this doesn't work for you, and we can try something different. There are still some quirks about the ACL/Tableau connection, so you guys aren't the only ones with questions like this!

I believe this will work. I found this document from ACL to link Tableau to ACL. You have to create a DSN to the path of your ACL project then in Tableau you setup the new data source using "Other Databases (ODBC)". You select that DSN you just created, sign in and can get the tables you need. Hope this helps.
