Please attach sample data as twbx format.
And could you clarify how you align this year's date and previous year's date?
Thanks,
Shin

2. Re: Weekly Line Chart TY vs PY
Lynda Kroeger Sep 5, 2018 4:59 PM (in response to Shinichiro Murakami)The actual date in the data would identify which week in the calendar year. For example 1/7/2018 and 1/8/2017 are week 3 for their specific year.

Lynda Kroeger Sep 5, 2018 9:08 PM (in response to Shinichiro Murakami)That might work. I was hoping to show the actual date and not the week number. Thank you.

8. Re: Weekly Line Chart TY vs PY
Lynda Kroeger Sep 7, 2018 7:25 AM (in response to Shinichiro Murakami)Thanks Shin. Interesting approach. This won't work with daily dates. I need the week date. I tried to change the logic in your Normalized Date calc to give me week date but not having any luck.

Sorry I am not quite sure what " I need the week date" means.
Could you please illustrate your expectations?
Thanks,
Shin

That 100% depends on your fiscal weeks' definitions.
How your company determines the very first fiscal week's start date for each year??
for example,
in some cases, January 1st becomes previous year's week 53,
some cases, January 1st is always the trigger of new year Week-1 with knowing there is less than 7 days week..
Thanks,
Shin
