I would greatly appreciate the latest VPAT as well. We currently are using 10.3
I can provide the VPAT to all Washington state government personnel. For all other Tableau customers, please contact your assigned Account Manager and they will provide with the VPAT upon request.
Hi Cody, I am a Washington State Government employee. Can i please get a copy of the VPAT.
Tableau users can create and publish dashboards and vizzes to Tableau Server/Online/Public that are 508 compliant (our VPAT documents the issues) when the author follows the documented guidelines and uses only accessible elements in the dashboards/vizzes. So our Section 508 stance is about the content, not the tool itself.
See our official site here where the VPAT is posted and kept updated:
I ran across this post looking for the Tableau Public current VPAT. Would you please provide me a copy of the current VPAT for Washington state government employees.
Christoper, the VPAT is located following the orange link in the message above. Here is the FAQ section for Accessibility for Tableau: FAQ: Accessibility
Just clink on the orange text below as that is a URL:
I tried to email you but don't see any email address in your profile.
Let me know if you need anything else after looking at that page.
Customers no longer have to contact their sales rep to get the VPAT for Tableau Server as the product team has created a page that they are keeping updated as new VPATs are issued each release. There is no VPAT for each State. We only issue VPATs for Tableau Server since Tableau Desktop is a developer tool and not something that can be made accessible easily. With Section 508 Compliancy built into Tableau Server we encourage customers to use Tableau Server and an accessible portal/browser to use for those employees needing Section 508.
