Daniel -- Start a brand new thread, and post a sample workbook in it.
The information provided earlier was really helpful. Firstly thank you for solution. But, here is the question. I am swapping sheets for almost 6 worksheets on a dashboard. I have filters individually to each sheet. For suppose, The filter "YEAR", for sheet 1 i have 2017 data. for sheet 2 i have 2016,2017, 2018 data and different other filters have their respective filters. By any chance can you help me if i can swap sheets along with the filters. when i select sheet 1 only the filters for sheet 1 has to appear and when i select sheet 2 only sheet 2 filters has to appear and the other sheet filter should be hidden.
Would be appreciated if you can guide me trough this requirement.
Sai -- Start a new thread. Ping me in it so I see it. Include a sample workbook. Have a dashboard in it that approximates what you are looking for. (Where do you want the sheets to display... Where do you want the filters to display... etc.)
Yes, you can conditionally display the filters and legends and other objects specific to each sheet. I'll show you how.
Hi Joe Oppelt
I've been trying to implement this method, but even after publishing to the server, I am unable to "drill through" the upper containers to get to the one getting displayed. Any updated advice on how to address this?
Thanks so much,
Carly -- Yes. The drill-through behavior changed starting in 10.4.
I don't like the change, but it is what it is.
See this thread. I made a way to deal with it. Takes a little more effort, but it does the job.
Excellent! The video was very helpful!
