Definitely possible, I did this yesterday with some data for my current client
You don't need SQL to do this, but you do need the data and something to compare against (eg last year, yesterday, whatever).
VERY easily in Tableau, please share the spreadsheet (dummy data only) and it will be easy to show
PS. I know your name is quite common, but there's a very famous car racer from New Zealand that competes in Australia with the same name
