I'm using tableau with SQL, and have some problems with dynamic parameter.
I'm using date('yyyymmdd', type = string) as dynamic parameters like " Select ~ from ~ where date is between 'parameter1' and 'parameter2' ".
But when I'm querying this from tableau, time is too much consumed. So I checked the query, and found out the string variable '20180709'(which is parameterized) becomes N'20180709'.
N means unicode, and If I use unicode in querying, the query speed gets really slow. So I want to remove 'N'. Is there any way to remove it?
Thanks for reading.
