# Record Level Aggregation

Hi,

Need help with calculating measure for the attached data

I have done this in Power Bi using Earlier Function, but need a little help on implementing the same in Tableau.

I have to calculate Index (Marks/Average marks in that Division*100). Please Help.

Hi Sudheer,

Thank you for a prompt reply, but the desired output is the Index = (Marks/Avg marks in that Division)*100

The Average is to be calculated for the respective division.

The data is only first 3 columns as attached in this excel, the last 2 columns in the previous dataset were the output columns given for reference.

Please Help

Use this calculation : ([Marks (Out of 100)]/{ FIXED [Division]: AVG([Marks (Out of 100)])})*100

I named this calculation as Index , you can check that Index and the result your sheet are matching.

Hello Rhishikesh,

Refer the attched and let me know:

Calculation 1: { FIXED [Division]:AVG([Marks (Out of 100)])}

Calculation 2: ([Marks (Out of 100)]/[Calculation1])*100
