Try Making Team filter as Context Filter.
The way you've set up your sheet, you guarantee that you'll only get one team.
See attached. I only used 2 measures, and I made one RANK calc (my own table calc, not a quick table calc, though that doesn't make a difference...)
Sheet 30 shows all teams.
If you want to get the rank from among all teams, you need to have all teams on the sheet.
If you have a table calc as a filter (see sheet 31), it still leaves all rows underlying the sheet, but just displays what is selected.
Edited: The Panthers-2 example I posted didn't have the filter displayed on sheet 31. If you already downloaded that, delete it and use the new one I attached.

I came across this thread while trying to accomplish the same thing, but with a parameter. Below is a link to my posting, is it possible to accomplish the same filtering based on a parameter?
