Manish Mehra Dec 7, 2017 11:12 AM (in response to Manish Mehra)Hi Vita Field names don't show how the data is structured and its granularities so it wasn't possible to give a solution.
However, I have tried creating a sample dataset based on my understanding of the issue and assumption of how data is structured and used it to create a sample workbook to show the same.
Hope it helps you in resolving your issue indirectly, if not directly cuz i'm pretty sure you'll have to use Fixed LOD expression.
Also, if you still can't get it, I would suggest to share a sample of the dataset in excel file.
PS: Please mark this as helpful if it resolves your issue so that others can benefit from it.

vita nesvetailov Dec 7, 2017 4:08 PM (in response to Manish Mehra)Manish I have attached a sample of data. There is a bit of complexity to this task because I need to group players by tickets and each ticket has a create date. So i would need to create a formula that identifies unique players that are frequent, occasional or lapse. Thank you again for your help.
P.S I am still using 10.3 version and waiting for 10.5. Is there a way to you to keep the workbook in 10.3?

Manish Mehra Dec 7, 2017 10:30 PM (in response to vita nesvetailov)Hi Vita I have tried to attach a sample after changing its version , hope it works.
In case you are still not able to open the file, you can refer to the screenshot below.
I have used 4 calculated fields as shown you can change the values for player frequency groups based on your preferences.
Let me know if you face any issues.

vita nesvetailov Dec 8, 2017 4:03 AM (in response to Manish Mehra)Thanks a lot Manish! I marked your response as the correct one. One last question if I want to find out about daily frequency I can just change the formula to:
IF [GamesPerMonth]>=30 THEN 1*1
ELSE 0*1
END

Manish Mehra Dec 8, 2017 8:31 AM (in response to vita nesvetailov)Thats absolutely correct.

vita nesvetailov May 23, 2018 9:38 AM (in response to Manish Mehra)Hello Manish you helped me a few months ago with the frequency analysis. I was wondering if you could look into similar task and formula and provide your insight. Instead of monthly frequency analysis I need to change it to weekly.
I have modified the formula
So If I need to figure out the total number of every day players, the formula would change to
IF [GamesPerMonth]>=7 THEN 1*1
ELSE 0*1
END
For some reason I am getting 0 results when this formula applied maybe because I have a small data sample. Would you mind looking into the workbook attached and share your thoughts?
Thank you!

Manish Mehra May 23, 2018 10:44 PM (in response to vita nesvetailov)Hi Vita try the formula below..not sure if I got the requirements correctly. If this doesn't solve it, can you explain in detail what you are trying to do? a scenario would help..
{FIXED [Id (Player)],DATEPART('week',[Created Date]): COUNTD([Created Date])}
