Create calc as [Top/Bottom]
if INDEX()<=5 then 'Top'
elseif INDEX()>=SIZE()-5 then 'Bottom'
You can also change hard code 5 into parameter values [Top/Bottom N]
Drag this into filter and select top and bottom values.
Drag [Top/Bottom],[subcategory] into row.
Drag sales into text and sort subcategory based on sales descending.
Uncheck top/bottom calc show header.
Refer attached 10.5V.

Thank you for the solution. I applied the same, but when i , for eg. filter some of the sub categories,, say Phones rank was 5, When i remove Phones from sub category, some other sub category gets allocated the Rank of 5. What i am trying to do is irrespective of pulling out sub categories the rank should remain same, and also when i am applying other filters lik Country.
