    Comparing daily performance in two different time periods

      we have two periods that span across years, more specifically:


      Period A: 1st September 2016 - 28th February 2017 (blue)

      Period B: 2nd September 2017 - 2nd March 2018 (orange)


      We would like to compare some key fields and calculations, so that we can visually locate any differences. How can we define the X-axis, so that we can show the time sequence and still have one curve on top of the other in the same graph? (something similar to the attached graph, but with one curve on top of the other).


      Perhaps we could enumerate the days of each period, like 1, 2, 3, etc? But with which calculation can we do that?
