1. Re: Tableau Bridge Client Sync keeps crashing since 10.5

Hey Nicholas,
Thanks for the question, and sorry for the trouble. The thing that would help diagnose this crash the best at the moment would be to have more uploaded reports (yes - somebody really does look at them. It's me). If you wouldn't mind, I'd love to get a copy of your load Bridge log files as well.
With any luck we can get this taken care of quickly.
Best,

Adrian Romero Apr 18, 2018 9:09 PM (in response to Dave Reeck)I'm having exactly the same issue (well, almost the same); in my case the "Fault Module Name" is KERNELBASE.dll
I'm running Tableau Bridge in Windows Web Server 2008 R2, with 4GB RAM.
Which logs do you need to help diagnose the problem? I'm having this problem on a daily basis, I need help!!
Thanks in advance!

Apologies for the delay. For crashes, the best thing you can do right now is to start Tableau Desktop on the Bridge machine and choose to upload the crash files. This will get your crash into our crash processing pipeline. For your particular crash, the next thing I'd do is contact support. They will collect your local log files which will help identify the specific issue you're seeing. BUT... please do give the recent 18.1 Bridge client a try. We're constantly evaluating the top crashes and it's definitely possible that your issue may already be resolved.
Feel free to respond to me here if you need a hand with any of this!
Best,
Dave Reeck

Hey Nicholas,
Thanks again for your help in finding this issue! We believe this problem is fixed, and based on your experiences with 2018.1 it sounds like you agree, is that right? I'm glad Bridge looks stable for you again!
Best,
Dave Reeck
