This is not necessary to for the type of filtering that you are attempting to do. The ability to restrict data at a row level is available for other data sources and authentication, please review the product help section below.
A use case: The Kerberos authentication might be enabled for some users that already have Kerberos setup for their other data sources and want to stay consistent or due to a security policy that might require Kerberos authentication.

We dont want to manage data filtering at a workbook level, because we dont want the developer to manage the RLS .
Instead we just want to pass on the user names so data is filtered based off the restrictions at the data source
