Whoa-- this was fun, and I'm still working on it. I came close, but the process I used was quite messy:
I tried conventional time formatting (Hh:Nn Ss) but I couldn't get that to work I'm still not convinced that won't work-- I just may need a reminder of how to use it!
Eventually I decided to revisit an old friend-- Modulo! I used that to string together the individual time components, but it wasn't very pretty (in fact, I suspect most vizzer's worth their salt would take one look and groan, and immediate suggest if we could award NEGATIVE points).
Scrutiny will show that the seconds don't always match up-- guess I should use a ROUND rather than an INT statement there.
I'll keep plugging away!
Happy to here that you enjoys the teaser, and still keep playing.
Yes, the tiny difference of "second" is frustrating, but good to understand what excel does and what Tableau does.
Hi Tushar More
If it was a beginner, I could kindly say "Good Job! thank you for the reply"
However, you are the "Data Monarch" with 11600 Pts.
Then, I should say,
"Hey Tushar, Please carefully look "seconds" which is off a little bit!"
Remember, this is not because I'm mean... Users are simply asking "why Excel and Tableau shows different numbers?"
Your mission: Keep user's trust to Tableau as much as possible.
Thanks for being kind. I did not realize the thing until you made me realize. I will look into it.
