Percentage difference from last month how you do it as a calculated field?

Hey guys!

So right now I have a line chart with values for each month to this I have added an annotation with the percent change from previous month but I calculate these manually and just write it down.

How would you go about to create this as a calculated field? At the end I just want to refer the calculated field in the annotation and show the percentage change automatically.

Thank you so much in advance!

Hi Lorin

the general formula is

(ZN(SUM([Value])) - LOOKUP(ZN(SUM([Value])), -1)) / ABS(LOOKUP(ZN(SUM([Value])), -1))

it is also a table calculation
