Hello,

In the attached screenshot you see a formula that comes up with 1 if the value of an "order line" is > 50000. That is easy.

But what I need is a formula that comes up with 1 if the value of the whole "purchasing document" (consisting of several "order lines") is > 50000.

Can somebody tell me what the formula must look like?

Roland

Try this:

IF { FIXED [Purchasing Document] : SUM(POV in E)} > 50000 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END

Hi Roland

In the absence of more to go on, i would strongly suggest that Nai's answer is well worth trying

You will need LOD functions...

Mark

Thank you Nai. I try and come back here ...

Dear Nai,

I got an error because of the part "SUM(POV in E)" in the calculation. And honestly spoken I do not understand the "in E" - but this is not really relevant.

Your hint and the hint of Mark - using LOD functions (which I did not know before) - helped a lot and I was able to solve my problem.

Thank you :-)

Roland

Many thanks for feeding back Roland, very kind, and great news you got the problem solved

LOD expressions are relatively new, and so powerful

personally, i found this an invaluable article

and to dive into the specifics - Bora's blog is amazing

There is loads more online, but I hope the above helps

All the best

Mark
