I branched this question from here: Workbooks that a group has access to
Amanda's picture (permissions.docx):
Amanda, please provide more details.
Are permissions locked to the project or managed by the owner for this particular project?
It's odd that none of the User/Groups in the project appear in the Friendly Name of the report. But there is 17 Views in the Project yet your report only shows 5 Views. Things don't look right. Are you looking at the correct Server, Site, and/or Project?

Amanda May Oct 16, 2017 10:32 AM (in response to Toby Erkson)Hi there, I just downloaded the Permissions workbook and changed to my server. If I leave it like it is, Groups are showing that do not have access to that specific Project, like in the screen shot.
Premissions are locked to the Project.
All17 views do show up, I just cut them off in my screenshot. They wouldn't all fit on my screen.
All 17 show in the Permissions workbook, but have the incorrect AD Groups.
Correct Server, we only have one Site, and correct Project.

Okay, I downloaded the workbook and it was originally version 9.1. Things have changed since then and I see that not everything is showing up in the permissions area that I expected (Allow/Deny grid). At this time I would say don't use this for version 10.0 or higher.
