Using a Measure and a Dimension to color Bar graph

    Elizabeth E

I have a bar graph which shows the spend in different categories for two counties. I would like one county to show up as all shades of green, and the other county to be shades of blue. The shade would be darker/lighter depending on the total spend in that category in that county. I am able to get the graph to color either based on the total spend, or on the county, but I can't get it to use both at once. I have tried to hold ctrl+ clicking both pills into the color section at once, but it will only take one or the other. I see that I can choose two dimensions to color by such as county and category, but maybe there is some limitation on coloring a chart with a measure and a dimension (the total spend)?

      Any ideas greatly appreciated!
