This does not answer my question, and it is this exact confusion that makes the problem challenging. Of course it is easy to group data points to create custom groups. My problem is that I don't have any data points to work with. The only Geography field I have is the custom region name. These custom regions go to the granularity of county. Do I need to create an Excel table with every county, assign it a custom region, and then join that to my primary data source?
Were you able to solve the problem? I have a data-set which does not have any geographic field except for a custom region.
