        Lynne Morgan

        Hi,

        I was wondering if this issue has been resolved? I am facing the same issue. My Tableau Public (v 10.0) renders perfectly on Chrome and Firefox but does not display at all in Internet Explorer. We are embedding the below code on our Sharepoint-hosted website.

        Host site: OCMH Trauma-Informed Care Map

        Code used to weap:

        <br/>

        <div class="ms-rtestate-read ms-rte-wpbox" contenteditable="false" unselectable="on">

           <div unselectable="on" id="div_061b1556-a8ff-4a1b-a390-54fcc758ae02" class="ms-rtestate-notify  ms-rtestate-read 061b1556-a8ff-4a1b-a390-54fcc758ae02">

           </div>

           <div unselectable="on" id="vid_061b1556-a8ff-4a1b-a390-54fcc758ae02" style="display: none;">

           </div>

        </div>

        Tableau Public Code used:

        <div class='tableauPlaceholder' id='viz1487182278089' style='position: relative'><noscript><a href='https:&#47;&#47;children.wi.gov&#47;Pages&#47;Integrate&#47;TICMap.aspx'><img alt=' ' src='https:&#47;&#47;public.tableau.com&#47;static&#47;images&#47;Tr&#47;Trauma-InformedCareAcrossWisconsin&#47;Overview&#47;1_rss.png' style='border: none' /></a></noscript><object class='tableauViz'  style='display:none;'><param name='host_url' value='https%3A%2F%2Fpublic.tableau.com%2F' /> <param name='site_root' value='' /><param name='name' value='Trauma-InformedCareAcrossWisconsin&#47;Overview' /><param name='tabs' value='yes' /><param name='toolbar' value='yes' /><param name='static_image' value='https:&#47;&#47;public.tableau.com&#47;static&#47;images&#47;Tr&#47;Trauma-InformedCareAcrossWisconsin&#47;Overview&#47;1.png' /> <param name='animate_transition' value='yes' /><param name='display_static_image' value='yes' /><param name='display_spinner' value='yes' /><param name='display_overlay' value='yes' /><param name='display_count' value='yes' /></object></div>                <script type='text/javascript'>                    var divElement = document.getElementById('viz1487182278089');                    var vizElement = divElement.getElementsByTagName('object')[0];                    vizElement.style.width='100%';vizElement.style.height=(divElement.offsetWidth*0.75)+'px';                    var scriptElement = document.createElement('script');                    scriptElement.src = 'https://public.tableau.com/javascripts/api/viz_v1.js';                    vizElement.parentNode.insertBefore(scriptElement, vizElement);                </script>

          Hi Lynne, your page looks fine to me in IE 11.  By the way, this is an old message thread, if you still have a problem, you'd be better off starting a new thread.

            Hello, we had similar problems with tabs showing on those visualizations which were embedded on SharePoint sites.  This was only presented in IE (chrome worked fine).  indeed it is an compatibility setting for IE/HTML and our SharePoint admin was able to modify a setting on the SharePoint site Master page (<- his words).  For those who know about SharePoint, perhaps this will make some sense:

            Original SharePoint settings for IE 10 compatibility:

            !DOCTYPE html >

            <html lang="en" dir="ltr">

                <head><meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=10" /><meta http-equiv="Content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /><meta http-equiv="Expires"
            content="0"
            /><title>

            Adjusted SharePoint settings for IE compatibility:

            <head runat="server"><meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=Edge" />

            Hope this helps others.
