Blend the two sources on [account].
Filter for those that have sum([secondary source].[account]) > 0.
Attached I made a simple workbook (V 8.2, will upgrade to any version) based on a simple excel file with two sheets in excel, simulating your two data sources.
Sheet 1 in the workbook is just a display of what's in the first data source.
Sheet 2 displays what's in the second data source.
Sheet 3 blends the two, and displays the record count from the secondary data source.
Sheet 4 filters to get only those from the primary source where there is something matching it in the secondary data source.

Thank you for the response. I may not have explained this best. I would like to be able to see all accounts listed and be able to differentiate between those that have run reports and those that have not. My end result would ideally be a pie chart of all accounts showing a 'Have report' and 'No report available'. You would then be able to click a portion of the pie and see the accounts listed out.
All the elements you need are in the example.
Sheet 3 in my example shows all the accounts.
Use the calc I made to split up your pie chart.
A filter action on the pie chart would let you pass that calc to the detail sheet to display either one side or the other.
