From your screenshots it's not clear where is Salesforce's "Deal History Report" is pulling data from.
I assume you also checked "Deal History" table?
This question might be better suited for support - I'd love to see logs and get a better idea of your Salesforce configuration.
Yes, in Salesforce for the Deal History Report, I selected Report Type:
Report Type: Deal History
I don't quite understand why when in the Data Source view, the table name is Deal(Historical), but when I get back to the worksheets, the table name is Opportunity__hd.
I have been working with Tableau Support on this as well.
I have attached logs from opening a worksheet with the data as of February.
I hate to dig up an old post, but I have a similar question. I'm not too familiar with the tables in Salesforce, but I need to create an opportunity history table that tracks the amount of time it takes for an opportunity to traverse from 0% to 100%, and the amount of time spent in each stage so I can track stalled opportunities. What is the required data model (tables, joins from Salesforce objects) to be able to capture this information in Tableau? Mary Ann Gardner
