I want to be able to sort the names in the table by their conversion rank, but I am unable to.
Is there anything I can do to sort the names?
Name is the column on the left?
Tableau sorts columns from left to right, so col 1 is the first sort, then col 2 etc.
Assuming it is the one on the left... there is a trick...
If you put a new field in the Col 1 position (then sort on that)
Right click the new col 1 field and untick show header
The previous col1 is now in col2, but is affected by the sort in col1 (but as you hide col 1, its invisible) < you get the benefit of leveraging for your sort without adding unnecessary fields into your dashboard.
I hope i have understood the problem correctly, and that the above makes some sense?
The column on the left is the name of the Team Manager. The name of the advisor ("display name") is a label in the table.
You may simply place your [Ranked Conv (Live Dash)]
Blue Pill (a Discrete One) into Columns and set it's Show Header flag to OFF.
Then you may want to clear Column dividers (format them as None).
Something like in the attached.

Thanks for the advice. I can now see that the rows are sorted correctly, I think I'd tried this with Mark's advice but the size of the shapes as a result, made me think that it wasn't working.
My pleasure, Mark.
