# Common Customers with all combinations and individuals

Hi team,

I have requirement like below..

i need to display the customer count who are there in each department and combination of departments on the tree map.

for example like with below combinations .

Furniture--------how many customers only in Furniture

Office Supplies--------how many customers only in Office Supplies

Technology-------how many customers only in Technology

Furniture+Office Supplies-------how many customers in both Furniture+Office Supplies

Furniture+Technology-------how many customers in both Furniture+Technology

Office Supplies+Technology-------how many customers in both Office Supplies+Technology

• ###### 1. Re: Common Customers with all combinations and individuals

right click on customer -> create -> set

goto 'Condition' Tab - > paste the following formula to create a set for customers with Furniture as a department

Max(iif([Department] = "Furniture",1,0))=1

follow the above steps to create next set for office supplies

then COMBINE the set and choose the intersection option to get common customers in the department furniture and office supplies.

Workbook attached.

Hi Roshan,

i need to show in the tree map like each combination in each Box.

Like below, each box is indicating the combinations and member count with those combinations..

• ###### 3. Re: Common Customers with all combinations and individuals

Hi I did in the below way,

if [Both in Furniture and Office supplies] then "F and Office"

ELSEIF [Furniture set] then "Furniture"

ELSEIF [Office Supplies set] then "Office"

END

But i have 27 values in my requirement. I cant create those many sets to get all the combinations. Is there any other way to get this..

Howdy Eshwar,

While not exactly the same issue a colleague of mine recently wrote this blog post that might help: https://www.interworks.com/blog/malbacete/2016/07/26/actionable-venn-diagrams-tableau
