Follow these steps and reply back if it works.
- Create a new live connection to the SAS data source.
- From the worksheet, right-click the data source and select Extract.

Hi guys, the issue come back again. I could not create extract in both data source and worksheet page. The same message box pop up.
Does anyone know what's the problem?
which data source you are using?
same. i used left join on 2 SAS file.
please post the screen shot of the error.

"Internal Error: An unexpected error occured and the operation could not be completed.
Unable to create extract."
I'm afraid I can't share the data. Sorry about that.

Did you created extract at-least once.? when you are Facing this problem?
what is the procedure you are following?
Please mention all the steps what you are following?
When I go worksheet, Data -> (My data source) -> Extract Data
It runs for a while then a message box "Reconnect to (my data source)?" pop up, then when I click "Yes", the ori message box pop up which is the "Unable to extract data" message.
When I repeat the steps and click "No" this time, the message box below pop up.
This problem is dude to to not enough disk space or your system resources are low.
Are you using 32 bit tableau desktop?
Try any of the following tasks to troubleshoot the issue:
- Empty the Windows TEMP folder (default location: C:\TEMP).
- Limit the size of the extract.
- Use Tableau Desktop on a 64-bit computer.
- Close other applications that you are not actively using.
