I'm very new to using Tableau 9.0.1, 64-bit version still, and hoping the community can help.
I need to create a line chart similar to the attached that I created using Excel line charts.
The data is a combination of 2 calculated fields:
1) average ticket cost (amount paid divided by total tickets for each month)
2) xyz line is for one type of value of a dimension, while abc line is the total of several values from the same dimension
3) Above that, I need to be able to filter these 2 lines using another/different dimension
Is this possible/doable in tableau 9.0.1?
Create some calculated fields like this:
IF [dim] = "xyz" THEN [Ticket Cost] END
IF [dim] = "a" OR [dim] = "b" OR [dim] = "c" THEN [Ticket Cost] END
You can put them on measure values to plot them at the same time. Measure names on color.
