Is it possible to use User Filters to restrict access to specific data on a public view. We currently tend to create two views of our workbooks -one public the other internal.
What I want to do to create one dashboard with a view that the public sees and then when a member of the organization logs in they can see additional detail.
For example in the following dashboard I would like to restrict access to the Ethnicity and Plan data to an internal audience. I attempted to utilize User Filters, but when I do the quest looses the ability to see any of the table data. Although the construction is currently Hierarchical, I've also tried placing the fields in the workbook independently with the same results. Any ideas?

you have created users filters but where you are applying it. I mean are you applying them as data source filters or other filters.
