Okay I think I understood your problem. First let me say I'm not sure it's possible to label the red bar with that value, because it's tied to the value of your Search Date parameter. At least I couldn't figure out a way to get it to be labelled that.
However I did find a way to give you a count of your Employees that are "D3" in this example. I think to get it on the view though it will have to be brought in on a Dashboard as a separate sheet.
Look to the calculated field "Active?" to find the employees that are activity code "D3" at that search parameter, and then "Employee's in" is a way to count those records. Additional sheet is where that count is displayed that you'd bring in on a dashboard.
Hope this helps!

It works well.
So now we are trying to push the problem a bit further:
Would it be possible this time to obtain the count, not on a Gantt chart but in a matrix as below:
The joinded workbook does this matrix,
Nevertheless, we have a problem with it that I can't solve for the moment:
imagine a person begining his shift like the red marks drawn upper (begin at 07AM on Monday, aand finish at 13 AM on the same monday)
in this case, we can count it on the first hour (here it's 07AM Monday) but it is not count after.
Do you have any idea ?

I totally understand what you're going for, but I don't know how to be able to deliver it with your data. I did find a couple forum posts that might help you along though. Hope this helps.
