Would sets or bins allow me to create different reference lines?

In the attached data set, I am plotting open customer orders against two measures.  The x-axis displays how long the order has been open, expressed as days pending.  The y-axis shows how long that order has been in a certain cycle (sub-component) of the overall process.

Ideally, I would like to be able to draw different reference lines on the x-axis for three different groups of days pending.  I would like the three groups of days pending to be <125 days, 125 - 365 days, and > 365 days.  I am trying to do this to point out exceptions for the end user to see easily.

I am wondering if I could accomplish this by creating bins or sets of days pending, but have been unable to figure this out.
