I have a stacked bar chart.  I would like to maintain the boarders around each (counted) item, but when I apply color to the chart the periphery of the bars disappears and they blend together.  See images below.

In a version without color the dividers are visible.  Applying color  causes the boarders around the cells to disappear.

How do I preserve the boarders?

P.S. shout out to Glen Robinson's Viz of the Day Rolling Stone Top 500 Albums.  I totally copied his great idea.  It's not only rock and roll, it's gene expression too!  Who knew?
