Is "ADMIN" stored as a [Cod_Country] in your data set, and how does Tableau know that ADMIN should see all countries? I would think that NOT having "ADMIN" as a [Cod_Country] would result in you seeing all the countries for that user but I'm not sure if that is true or not using this method of user filtering.
Let us know if you can provide more details, and as always, a packaged workbook with a sample of your data is most helpful in helping you find the answer you need.
The ADMIN doesn't stored in the field [Cod_Country], this user is a Administrator in the tableau server. I tried the create a calculated field: the user administrator 'ADMIN' doesn't apply filters and the user stored in [Cod_Contry] use a automatic user filters.
When I use the Administrator, i want to see data from GUA,ELS and HON.
Thanks for your time.
OK--can you post a packaged workbook? Remove any sensitive data/fields, and post here if you can. That would be the best way to find the help you need--I am not sure what to advise at this point.
I resolved the workbook. I created the calculated field and used in the filters
CASE USERNAME ()
WHEN 'ADMIN' THEN 'True'
WHEN [Cod_Country] THEN 'True'

Yep, that makes sense to me--glad its working, and thanks for marking your question answered!
The solution makes no sense to me, probably because there's no context (workbook) to go with it to see what's happening. From what I see it's always going to be 'True' unless the country isn't in the Cod_Country list (and assuming it's not 'ADMIN', too), in which the result will be 'NULL'.
Good that you got it working.
The goal was for the ADMIN account to see all countries, so his formula will return only the correct country for anyone whos username is equal to the country code, and the ADMIN will just see all countries. If its not the Admin or one of the Country Code logins, it will be NULL; or at least, that's how I interpreted it. I could be wrong, though!
I am trying to understand how this works and I'm not convinced the above case statement will work as required. I have exactly the same issue for regional security.
Is there any chance someone could post a workbook as an example?
