Diverging Colors for Color Vision Deficiency

    Eric McDonald

I'm using a red-green diverging palette to show positive and negative positions on a chart / table. I need to use a palette which is suitable for someone with red-green color vision deficiency (color blindness as it's often called). Tableau has a Color blind palette but not a diverging one. What colors should use to replace red-green diverging and which work correctly from a visual design perspective?

We have our own corporate palettes which we use in tableau so we can add our own but need to know best practice.
