Aggregating by unique identifier / removing duplicates

I would like to ask a follow-up question to this thread:

Removing Duplicated Data after Joining Tables | Tableau Software

Using the same workbook and data set; how would I get the total inventory for all fruits? I.E. inventory of apples + inventory of bananas + inventory cantaloupes, etc. My intent is to do a sum of a individual values that correspond  to unique identifiers (i.e. in this case an inventory of 75 apples + inventory 60 bananas, etc) and ignore any other occurrences of the 75/apples 60/bananas. I just want to sum single instances out of many without modifying the data set.

      Many thanks.
