Rolling refresh of TDE from PostgreSQL DB

      Hi All,

Hi have large datasets that are appended each week. I have a Tableau viz that uses that data longitudinally. I want to package the workbooks to deliver to customers with only the last x weeks of data in there.

I am aware that I can create a TDE using filters, BUT I dont want to have to create a new TDE every week. I want to just be able to hit refresh and get the latest x weeks available to save in the packaged workbook.

Is there anyway to do this without having to make a new TDE each week, and then swap datasources?

p.s. as a side note to which I recall having seen some solutions about - I often have difficulty changing datasources. Tableau doesn't copy over calculations properly etc. Any good posts on this?
