Justin Smith Oct 12, 2012 10:29 AM (in response to Alex Kerin)Alex,
Thanks for your reply. I was able to get the label to display the same percentages your correction shows, but it is race as a percent of total. What I'm looking for is what percent each bar represents. For example, there are 1,376 white male students. The tooltip (and hopefully label) for that bar would show 36% (1,376 white males / 3,820 total students). For white female students, it would show 28% (1,059 / 3,820). So then, the percentages for the races would total to 100% (roughly might have rounding issues), and the grand total bars would display what percent of all students are male and female (58% and 42% respectively)
Thoughts?
Thanks again for your reply,
Justin

Alex Kerin Oct 13, 2012 7:57 AM (in response to Justin Smith)Got you. Attached - we needed sep % for each ***. There is a caveat that both appear on both tooltips unless we use a dual axis and multiple mark types.

Justin Smith Oct 22, 2012 9:49 AM (in response to Alex Kerin)Alex,
Thanks so much. I like exactly how it is, except I would prefer it to only have the male percent when on a male bar, and female on female. I assume this is what meant when you mentioned using dual axis and multiple mark types. Is this something that can be done? Sorry, I know you have been more than helpful - just can't seem to get this figured out!
