See attached, is that what you're looking for?
I created a Parameter (choose dimension) that I then used in my calculation (CHOOSE DIMENSION).
Instead of adding my different dimensions to the view, I know just add that calculated one.
Try out the different options in the parameter control and see what it does.
I wasn't sure about your colors, but you can create another dimension and put that on the color shelf.
In this case I created another dimension (CHOOSE COLOR) that also is working of the same parameter.
Hope that helps

I was able to do this but my issue is a little different. Assuming you have three filter, Product Category, Product Subcategory, and Product. I want the default view to show the (when "All" is slected in all filters) to show the sales of each Product Cutegory (rows) for each year (columns). If the user picks 1 category from the Product Category filter, then I want the view to show sales for Product Subcategories (rows) for each year (columns). and if the user picks one subcategory, I want the view to show sales for Products (rows) for each year (columns).
Does that make sense?
Can we group the dimension when the datasource if of the type Microsoft Analysis Services? I tried from side to create a calculated field for Dimension but the expression editor does not show the list of dimension available in the cube. Can you please provide if there is any other way or tell me is I am missing on something.
Appreciate your help.
Did you ever find a solution to this?
I'm trying the same now but not quite getting it to work.
