    Portuguese cities

    Carlos Abreu

Tableu is resolving 'Beja' to (Béja, Tunisia) instead of (Beja, Portugal) and Guarda to Guardamar del Segura, Spain.

My default location is set to 'Portugal' and the issue persists.

What can I do to solve this problem?

Carlos if you haven't figured this out yet, you are confusing Tableau, or Tableau is confused about Portugal ;) Either way you need to put Beja and Guarda in a column called State\Province (not City). Then you'll need to tell Tableau these states are in Portugal (see .png). Now Tableau displays your locations correctly (see workbook).

To assign locations in the future just rt-click the map and pick Edit Location, or clicks the unknowns at the bottom of the map.
