Kindly let me know what does accumulated means, as per my understanding it is an aggregation.
Hi Kalpit, What I really want is another table but YTD. that is, if I select March, January + February + March.
sorry for not focusing my request well
Have you tried Running Sum?? If you are looking for something like this.. Please refer to the attached workbook.
Please mark the answer as correct if this is what you required or as helpful if this helps you reach your desired output.

Please find attached workbook.
you need to have a month parameter with having integer/float values and display as month name.
Create two calculated fields 1) For same month <- month(date field)= month(parameter) 2) For YTD <- month(date field)<= month(parameter)
Please mark as correct answer if this answers your question.

I went through your twbx file and saw a few bugs and was not sure if it was your
calculations or some data related issue (nulls/blanks). Please don't get me wrong
as most of it looks great and is meticulously done and it must have been quite a lot.
I wish to build the dashboard you have displayed in your post from scratch and would
like to look at the raw data. By any chance would you have a spreadsheet so I can create
the dashboard that you displayed. The problem is that it somehow fails the UAT test ie
I select April 2019 and the number for Prior Year does not match the current year when
I select April 2018.
Also what is the difference between "Last" and "Prior" (or actually is there any or was
that just a typo and should have been current, prior and difference ). Gracias !
Muchas Gracias ! Glad to know it is the Current Year. Also regarding all these datasources,
how are they joined and what are the common fields. Let me rephrase what I meant in the
earlier email. I will be working on only one dashboard which is the one you displayed and so I
only need the necessary data for that one.
Also it would greatly help in expediting your solution if you could do the data connections
and only keep the fields needed for the dashboard you requested. I could easily have used
the superstore sales dashboard but wish to work on your data so I get a first hand glimpse of
reality. Hope this is not asking too much. Thanks !
To make the solution simpler. I send the twx file only the "master" card, which is the first three lines of my board.
To remember what I need is that when you select the year / month, show in a table the values of only the current month. and in another table the accumulated values (YTD) until that month
Tell me if you need anything else?

Can you make them as two separate sheets with the respective logic and put them together on the dashboard to look like a single sheet by formatting correctly and by applying the filters to both worksheets to that the data get filtered correctly among the two sheets when you select the filters?
Hi Shilatha. Yes, that's exactly what I'm looking for. Thank You
Hi Shekhar Hazari, This is not what I need, Thanks anyway
Thanks for providing me the data. Here is a simple solution that I came up with using
only 3 sheets (instead of too many for each calculation).
Hope this makes sense and looks correct I do see different values (compared to what you
displayed with the earlier dataset) and so I have listed the data on the right just for your
reference to check if the calculations are being done correctly. Let me know if this works
and I will be glad to give you a detailed explanation of the steps.
Also I used the conversion rate 1 USD = 19.1 Pesos or (1 peso = 0.052 USD) and created
another field called MASTER (instead of using mda) and got the units in $ and usd.
In addition to this I created the Measure Dollar Amount which gives you a converted value.
The twbx file (version 2018.3) is attached below. Hope this is helpful and answers your question.
Do let me know if you have any questions, need further clarity or wish to make modifications.
Best wishes and Hasta Luego !
