Currently, the only way to access Tableau files from a mobile device is via the Tableau Online (or Tableau Server).  in many cases, it is cost prohibitive to have many users have a license for this.  Most reports produced are confidential to the company producing them, and therefore not eligible for Tableau Public.  Many sales forces are moving from a PC/laptop to a tablet.  Most execs travel only with a tablet.  Not having access to this kind of report pushes the consumers of the data to other softwares.

1. Enable the IPad (or other mobile device) to open a tableau file from an email.

2. Enable the IPad (or other mobile device) to open a tableau file from a Box account, or other than Tableau Online (or Tableau Server).

Both will bring wider acceptance and more requirements for a Tableau report.  Either will be an improvement to how the reports are distributed and consumed.
