Use case:

Creating a set of data which has bars, using a colour range to colour them and show the more significant data points. When I add totals, the colours are recalculated to include the totals so all the significant data points are lost visually.

Therefore when implementing colour ranges with bars and other similar visuals, the colour range for the Total should be independent of the main data set/visual.
