Unable to login to Tableau Online using Internet Explorer 11

    Unable to log into Tableau Online. No errors and no changes on the screen after hitting login.

    Environment
    • Tableau Online
    • Internet Explorer 11
    Resolution

    In Internet Explorer go to Tools > Compatibility View Settings and in Compatibility View window perform the following actions:

    1. Uncheck the boxes in Compatibility View Settings window
    2. Remove Tableau URLs from
      "Websites you've added to Compatibility View Settings"
    3. Refresh page
    Root Cause

    Version 10.0 of Tableau Server does not support legacy compatibility modes in Internet Explorer 11 and higher.
