Hi Tableau Community!

This week I would like to share a Viz from the #MakeOverMonday that the amazing Eva Murray and Andy Kriebel help facilitate each week. They challenge users to use Tableau to display data in a beautiful and informative fashion. This week their data set takes a look at how much property you can purchase in the various top cities across the world. @Michael_Mixon! (@mix_pix) created this Viz and shared it to the Twittersphere. Check out all the vizzes from Make Over Monday by searching the #MakeOverMonday on Twitter.

Top Voted Idea

Community Forum maverick and former Zen Master Shawn Wallwork's idea Multiple Instances of Measure Names/Values Variable from 2012 has emerged as the top voted idea for the last week. The idea is sitting on 686 total votes, with 5 new in the last week alone. Here is the idea, "Idea: Allow us to create multiple instances of the Measure Names and Measure Values variables so we can assign groups of measures to one axis and a different group of measures to another axis. This would allow us to have a multi-measure line chart laid over a multi-measure bar chart without needing any Custom SQL wizardry." If you agree go show it some love. There has never been an employee comment on this thread so we will highlight this to our developer team and hopefully find out if this 'active' idea is anywhere on the future roadmap.

Tableau Community,

Wow! So many awesome things are happening in the Tableau Community as a whole. I am beyond excited to see the adoption of Tableau Prep and the passion that our users are bringing to this brand new product.

I have to share an amazing Viz that was recently posted by kevin flerlage onto Tableau Public! Dr Suess is amazing and The Lorax was one of my favorite books as a child. I also do appreciate the recently done movie starring Danny DeVito as the Lorax. (Definitely worth a watch in my opinion).
