Happy Monday.  It's March in the Northwest and the snow is still coming down.  I think we are all ready for Spring and warmer weather.

Speaking of March, remember that It's National Women's month - so we'll be celebrating all the smart women in our community.  Tracy mentioned the upcoming Data+Women Virtual Tableau User group event on March 16th.  More info below.

Announcements

Tableau 10.2 was released last week. We have some resources in the community to help you get going including 10.4 Tableau Resources with links to the upgrade guides for Server, Desktop and all the new great features in Tableau 10.2.  You can find the complete list of Ideas that you created and Tableau has included in 10.2 here: http://tabsoft.co/2meaEWZ

As I mentioned above, March is going to be a celebration of the women in our community. We'll be posting content/discussions in the Data + Women group. Feel free to get conversations of your own started! We'll also be having our first ever Data + Women Virtual Tableau User Group | Tableau Software hosted by Brit Cava and Chloe Tseng on March 16th at 9:00 AM. This will be a great event - don't miss it!

Do you work in the Healthcare field? If so, do not miss tomorrow's Virtual Healthcare Tableau User Group. Learn more here: Virtual Healthcare Tableau User Group | Tableau Software

Esther Twain asked a question Filter to max date - FIXED not working? where several users stepped in with ideas before Jay Morehart shared a solution using a nested LOD calculation that doesn't even require a filter.  Bookmark this one as it is a great help for some of those more tangled LOD questions.

Top Voted Idea

Shawn Wallwork created an idea to disable Ability to Disable the One-Click Sort .  He created this idea back in 2012 and there are a few workarounds suggested in the comments including one that I use "covering up" the sort with a blank/transparent box on a dashboard.  However, this is still a popular request and was our top vote getter last week for ideas with 7.
